    Hi,

    Im having a bit of a problem, my rooms rather full and im wondering how i can sort things out this is my current setup;

    [IMG]

    my sketching is terrible lol ill explain what the things are;

    first of all the thing going into the wall is the door, infront of that [ the white cube is my secondary monitor] next to it, my laptop [all on my computer desk]. To the left of my comp desk is a 4 drawer cabinet with my tv and PS3 on.
    the cylinder is my comp chair.
    the thing next to the door against the wall is a warddrobe, next to that the square with [X] in is a plug socket coming out of the wall about 5cm's this is a problem =[ the thing along is another warddrobe.
    Then in the middle my bed, [single bed]
    then along the wall infront of you is a 3drawer cabinet [long] and a 3 draw bedside table.

    Can anyone help me make more room as im getting some more computer pieces and theres nowere to put them.. =[

    oh.. behind the 3drawer units is a big window and under the window is a radiator then next to that a gas fire.

    Thanks Mark.

    I'm sorry, don't have any helpful input. As mentioned above, photos would probably be clearer. However, having said that, I'm off to model my room in sketchup :D

    consolidate your clothes down into one wardrobe, which goes in the foreground corner of your sketchup, push your bed against a wall, wall-mount the 3-drawer cabinet.

    edit: because i'm bored, i sketchup'd it.

    will uploads some in around an hour, with my crappy phone cam =[

    - there is some stuff lyiny around aimlessly but alot of it is going in a few days.

    ok here goes;

    As you walk into the room;
    [IMG]
    Desk.

    here it is;
    [IMG]

    End of my bed and desk
    [IMG]

    then to the left of the desk, tv and 4 drawered unit.
    [IMG]

    then next to / infront of that is the window, and gas fire and radiator.
    [IMG]

    both 3 drawer units and bit of window.
    [IMG]

    then on the other side of the room the wardrobes
    [IMG]
    the one on the left is right next to the door.

    closer ups of both seperate
    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    and the bed in the middle of it all ;p

    this is just my new handy work with the drill;

    now finally have wired internet in my room :D

    As you can see on the 3 drawer pics that 21'' beige is going soon aslong with the 17'' blackon the floor and the pc is being moved onto my desk so that are will be pretty much clear.

    you can't see on my pics but inbetween warddrobes in a plug that sticks out like the ones above the tv so i can put them flat against the wall =[ anyway i can get the plug flat or just take it off and fill the wall in, i never use it its just in the way.
    dont know if u can see the things next to the warddrobe that just some speakers they'll go soon aswell.

    Thanks :)

    Get rid of the TV/DVD player and your massive CRT and get a decent 22"+ monitor that you can plug your PS3 into. Turn the second wardrobe around so it's inline with the other one too.

    Throw out some of the CRT's, then you'll have some more room. Throw out unused boxes too.

    I'd move your bed against the far wall, then move your computer desk under the plugs in the middle of the wall - that way you can use that whole wall for that (+drawers). Get rid of one of the wardrobes, and put the other one in the corner, where the comp desk used to be.

    Bin a couple of those CRT's, put the TV+PS3 next to your desk.

    That way you'll maximise floor space as you walk in, and keep it uncluttered in the middle of the floor.

    The best thing to do is to is to get some square ruled paper and make a scale layout of your room and cut out pieces which represent items. You can easily move the bits around. But yeah move the bed against the wall where the wardrobes are.

    turn your bed 90 degrees to free up some floorspace, get rid of some clothes or use storage under your bed (even just slicing the side open in a makeshift rock and roll fashion cubby drugshole) then ebay the stuff you dont need. seriously, if you dont need it to live, get rid of it. recycling old electronics on these forums would give you some cash back as well.

    Finally, go to ikea and look at their rack storage systems, very very hard.
