was stripping down windows for some superpi and I accidently disabled something that is needed to boot windows, the thing is that I also had disabled windows installer, so I put in the windows disk and all I get is anerror that I am missing something vital to windows any ideas on how I can reinstall windows? or anything that will fix my surrent situation
you want to know how to reinstall windows? I wouldnt go that far. you can probobly boot up in a strip-down mode and then reenable your service. but if you realy do want to reinstall just go into your bios and boot off the CD
no it doesn't work and I know how to reinstall windows, I do not get the option to delete a partition or do anything
So what happens when you put in the boot disc? Nothing? Boot options in BIOS set correctly? Can't boot into Safe Mode?
