it means that your CD key is invalid!

if you got it from a cd key generator then it wont work online, but will accept it to install HL with.

Well as u 2 well kno i bort it and no1s taffed it cos i aint tole ne1 an no1s bin round 'ere

 

Remove an reinstall halflife, then try again. If not, seach box.sk network for a CD key.

 

That's a really good idea. Get a key from a dodgy site and stop someone else from playing

 

the other thing it could mean is WON.net auth servers had arsed up again, allways tended to happen before a league TFC match

 

fish it must be invalid. i downloaded something that makes up HL keys and it'd accept the key when it came to installing HL, but as soon as i tried to play online, it gave me the same thing...
