    Hitman....
I actually fell asleep in that movie. First time i'd ever done so when watching a film.
It WAS late at night, but still... Hah.

The games were always pretty awesome. Different, to everything else on the market.
I'd very much like to see a new game. =)

It wouldn't be a 'bad thing' it'd be a franchise destroying thing.

Glad to hear it's not happening.

"I can tell you that there is no way we will be basing a storyline for a new Hitman game on the story in a licensed movie,"

So this means they can base it on an unlicensed movie then?

Big fan of all the games, have them all. The movie was dissapointing though, they turned really dark and good stories into a mindless action movie with a cliche plot.

    There was a Hitman film?!?!?!

That completely passed me by. Was it released in Britain?

What has Mark Walberg to do with Hitman? He was never in the film and has nothing to do with the games.

Hitman 5 hopefully will be awesome. Played all 4 and played the last one twice. It can only be better!

Yeah. Don't expect a lot, but it's a good film to get drunk to. And the Hitman drinking game is fun.

You drink whenever 47 kills someone - two fingers if he does it with a gun, three for a rifle and a shot if it's a melee or sword kill. You have to down half your drink whenever the Interpol detective puts a cigarette in his mouth too.

That was the Max Payne film...never watched it. Hitman on the other hand, went for the Bond with blood angle - loads of action and death, flashed the flesh of that girl that went on to be in a Bond, but no bonking. Cannot believe the individual Blood Money had been deleted by the time the first film was out, they could have sold stacks of it even if it was unrelated like Tomb Raider before it.

I agree with the separation simply because of the two media, what little character was established in the film was worth hanging onto for those that don't play the games, but the games have a seven year head start, so each to their own.

he's also the bad guy in live free or die hard... he's a good character actor =p

He played the part well but unfortunately only jason statham can actually be mr 47 with any amount of convincability

Some of my favourite games of all time (loved them all except Contracts), looking forward to this!

What? 47's a huge Eastern European with no hair, no sense of humour, no capacity for conversation and a bar code on the back of his head. Statham's a cheeky London chappie. Crank and Transporter were not exactly Silent Assassin.
