Modding home made speed controller

    does anyone know how to make a fan speed controller? i've got an 80mm fan on the front of my case and its doing my head in with the noise. i tryed fitting a 120mm but the drivebays got in the way :wallbash: so it looks like i need a speed controller or ear defenders

    OHH so there is a guide for making a fanbus. I am probably going to do one too. :thumb: *Except it is going to controll my lights and fans.

    i'd rather get the parts from maplins as the main warehouse/shop is about 10 mins drive away so does anyone know if they still sell rheostats
