A novice's question. Just bought an NZXT Kraken X52 AIO. It is my very first venture into AIO cooling. How is an AIO filled with the coolant? Through which port/hole, or does it already come pre-filled with a coolant? I'd rather ask than have an expensive CPU get destroyed. As I am no 'expert' on water-cooling, it's best I ask here from far more knowledgeable folks. Thanks for any tips/answers.
Thanks for that. Next question, what or how are they re-filled then when the coolant runs low due to evaporation, etc through the radiator to CPU waterblock path?
They typically aren't. The coolants used shouldn't evaporate to any meaningful extent over the life of the cooler [or at the very least it's warranty]... They're called 'Closed-loop' coolers for a reason.
Really, really appreciate such a very helpful piece of advice. It's taken a load of worry off my mind. Now, thanks to you, I can relax.
