    The 'blobs' don't match up to those 'ranks' - they're something different altogether but from what I can tell they're correct.

    Like I said earlier:

    You are awarded the last green blob for ~1500 rep points, so they max out before the above ranks.

    It cant be 100 points for the first 5 blobs. I got my second blob at 75 rep points(it was a jump from 40 something).

    But yeah, the max is 11 blobs which is from the penultimate rank.

    It is the "Demotivational Posters" thread. It started well enough, with some members posting funny pictures. Some were original, others were just grabbed from 4Chan or the ICanHasCheezburger family of websites. After a while, it just went downhill as the volume of original content decreased and the amount of boobs/whining increased. By the end it was a spam trap comprised of maybe 2 or 3 memes repeated ad nauseum, combined with repeated attempts to annoy the moderator team.
