At one point my Zen Micro got all ****** up and it landed me in what looked like some kid of BIOS. It had some options. Among them was "rebuild library" and "format the harddrive" (or something like that). Now i got the idea i would format the disc instead of removing all my files manually... The micro is painfully slow when removing lots of small files, witch is what i have filled it with... Only problem is: i can't find the "BIOS" again. Does anyone know what i'm getting at, or even better how to do it? There's no rush, this was just something i might use in the future when refreshing my compilations...
take out the battery, hold the switch in the 'on' position, and with this held to 'on', reinsert the battery. A menu will appear. google next time
Nice googling skills. My searcing went more in the direction of "formatting zen micro" or "tutorial format zen micro". Not much luck with that... Well, being Swedish i wouldn't call that a hidden menu.
