for 150usd I can get a junkyard turbo off a cumings diesel. And thats not fake....

FYI cars that have very loud dumper valves have improperly tuned turbos and engines. The turbo discharge valve should only open under extremem conditions in a street car.

BTW they have that in the US too, Ricers all over drool over that pos. :wallbash:

they arent trying to make their cars into upgraded 'street cars' they are trying to make them into race cars where the dump valve goes off more every time you think about it

Firstly anyone with a Diesel car putting one of these in has mental problems.
Turbo car emulating a turbo car sound ? :duh:

edit: you watch the video? It doesnt even sound like a dumpvalve! :hehe:

Your a little off target there.

All turbo's need to dump air, just most standard turbo cars use a re-circulating dump valve which vent the excessive boost pressure back through the system so you don't hear it.

An atmospheric dump valve on the other hand vents to the atmosphere which gives off the "pssss" sound.

Might get one of those ASP ones for me peddly bike though :D

Correct. BUt a properly done engine (unless small) dosent need insane amounts of boost to make allot of hp. Sorry To make a generalisation but I tend to think a turbod large engines that only use about 10-15psi and those turbos are mainly active when throtle is stabed or the car is actualy at high speeds.

Ah well, still a useless product.
