    i've got OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum Rev2, isn't the timing 4-4-4-15?

    no idea mate, the fastest i've seen on the ocz website is 5-4-4-15

    you are right, but that stuff is rare as hen's teeth in the UK. it was hard enough finding these sticks.

    i just got exact one from MicroDirect. try to run in 4-4-4-15, and tell me results

    will do mate, although it looks like i've got the rev1 sticks (and i made a mistake - they're 5-4-4-18 conflicting info here...) :( - if you can show me where i can get the rev2 anywhere in the UK (microdirect doesn't seem to have them anymore) i will very gladly cancel my order and reorder them from there.

    edit: dude.... those are 1gb sticks. i bought 2x2gb sticks - confusion over!!

    woop! all assembled. memory hasn't arrived yet (NEVER ORDER FROM SPECIALTECH) so i borrowed 2GB from a friend who had 4x1GB until it does. installinating vista as we speak!

    *whispers* it's so quiet..... and to think i haven't installed the thermalright 8800 heatsink yet! (waiting to be sure system is stable before i do that, or overclock anything)
