i was removing the white stuff from the center of the cpu with a screwdriver (yeah i know i'm an idiot) and i cracked a tiny (really, really small, less than 1/3 of a mm) of the crystal edge. It still working but do you know if i'll face any problems in the future ?
If it still works, don't worry about it too much. That's all you can do, because trying to predict future effects is not going to be possible. I destroyed 2 capacitors on my GF3 Ti200, but it still works fine...
My duron has practically no core left and still works If it works fine now, chances are it won't get anyworse...just try and forget about it, maybe it will go away
I used to believe if you broke something then left it alone for ages, fairies would come and see how upset you were and stick it back together. Maybe they will fix your Xp!
