Displays i just ordered 2 UltraSharp 2407WFP-HC's...

I am so excited its not even funny..
I don't want to use this 32 inch lcd tv for normal usage anymore. its killing my eyes.

I thought banding was the problem on those screens? Only through DVI though, VGA is fine.

 

there was a problem on the old screens for ghosting the new HC's do not have the issue as its a different panel now.
also the banding was pretty much fixed as well as it can display a lot more of the ntsc colors now.

 

The non HC's A04 revision have no probs with banding, Dell actually fixed it.

When they get to my door (might be up to two weeks) I will get some pics up asap.
I am glad I waited for the HC version.
Seems to me like the problems are all fixed up and it really is just a sweet monitor.

 

I just bought a Acer 24" and it's pretty good, can run GRAW 2 at 1900x1200 and it's really clear and smooth. Hope the dell monitors are good! If your not happy with the dell's you can try Acer!!

I would like a couple of these HC monitors as well but just not sure how bad this issue is, so what is your experience with the 2 you bought?

 

Well I've got one of them (i'm not greedy ) and it's brilliant! I use my 19" samsung as my secondary display.

 

brilliant - yes and seems very good value for money, but do you get the ghosting described in the 2 links above

seth, you will probably have some weird issue with some blue ghosting when moving black on pure white. this is easily resolvable by tweaking the colour levels down from their (ridiculously oversaturated) defaults - this is well documented - search for it on google, plus its been discussed on these boards before.
