would love something similar to this but with media keys, mice mix of low cost, backlit and comfortable to use.

I'd give a ten keyless version a shot at a similar price point.

Star Trek font is an interesting choice.

I just picked up an I Rock K10 for 20 notes and I am loving it.

They sure do have some bizzare idea of style though...

Brought one of these K50 Keyboards and I quite like it.

I have never used a mechanical before (I know this isn't one). Every key has a more satisfying feel to it. The space bar makes a slightly loud clunking sound.

Only things I don't like are the upside down shift key for a caps lock key, I think this is an issue with my one. Also the 5 on the numpad looks off as the text sits lower down the key than the other numpad keys.

Finally, the shift from silly mechanical switches is coming.

Why do you say mechanical switches are silly, many people like them a lot? Is it just because you don't happen to like them?

One of these with customisable keycaps and you'd have a customer right here!

If I could find one anywhere in Australia, I'd be tempted to try it and possibly have it as a work keyboard if I'm not so keen.
