CPU i7 920 problem

    Hi
    I was recently given this cpu.

    I ahve tried it on two different boards and wiith different memory but had no luck in it booting.

    I recently got a new psu and that works fine.

    Do you think the cpu could be dead?

    sounds like it.. maybe rub it across your mustache a couple of times and give it one last shot

    sorry about my bad spelling, tired and stressed.

    Looks like ii be after a new cpu as soon as i can afford
