I have spent all of today rushing to get some work done, 17 pages of work on circuit simulation in PSpice, just re-read what I have to do and I only needed to do 1/6th of what I have done, I spent about 23hrs infront of the computer on this work for nothing ****!!! 'doc /vent EDIT: 4 out of 17 pages are what I need, I have done the exam, so its just a waste.
Dude, that sucks. Unlucky- i think we've all done something along those lines though, i spent about 8 hours extra on a piece of coursework recently, not knowing that i didn't need to do one particular section At least it kept you occupied, try and look at it that way.
Thats kind of the problem, I have 4 days to do 3 pieces of coursework, and I just lots a day. Thanks for the words 'doc
Just think of how much more practised you are now on this stuff. You never know - the extra work you did on this one may make something easier on one of the others that may have stumped you even longer if you hadn't done this work.
so... where did the 17 come from? was it for people who hadnt taken the exam? too bad... ive done stupid stuff before, but not that bad.
Reminds me of when I did Modern Studies O-level years ago, walked into the exam thinking it was 1 hour long, there was four parts so I tried to fit one in per quarter hour. After really getting to it and finishing with 5 minutes to spare I got up and left, but the funny thing was no-one else did, strange I thought untill I looked at the timetable (It was a two hour exam) I scraped through with a C where I would have normally got an A or B.
Their were 3 lab sessions on PSpice based around and for electrical circuit theory (I have 90%+ in the exam), I did all 3 lab sessions insted of just the one :/ I know people who have done similar yoda, like doing 4 parts of an exam that only required the two. 'doc
GRRR I do that, i spend time doing it to a good degree, then find some asshole has done it in 1 page, and only had to be 500words. Because he asked and i didnt, I ALWAYS do it, it f****'s me off. - S Edit: i just read yoda's post, arrr man thats harsh. School boy error , not reading properly. A common mistake everyone does. No one ever reads the important bits
Unlucky mate, but it's better than not doing enough. Hopefully it will come in handy one day. Read the questions thoroughly TBH. I'm sure you have been told that lots of times.
lol i turned up to a german GCSE exam like 25 minutes late traffic or something I can't remember just my bad organization anyways ... I somehow passed with a C
I tend to do this too, do way too much, get stressed at 11PM when I haven't finished, then just wander in the next day and find out I've done twice the required amount. Unlucky mate!
