Even by intel standards that's expensive
I much prefer the price I paid for my PCIe x4 version of this drive - £0*.
It was a "door prize" at a video games event I attended in Frankfurt back in 2017.
Intel were sponsoring the event to launch the drive, so gave around 150 away there.
* - I don't count the cost of going to Frankfurt for a few days as the product launch was a total surprise to attendees, who were going to the event anyway.
A great drive, IF your usage case will benefit from it's particular talents. Clearly you need to think long and hard before buying it over a fast NVME M2 ssd.
