I understand about data fragmentation, why it is fragmented and how it is fragmented...

My question is why isn't it rearranged until it reaches the destination host??

    Any help appreciated

its not rearranged untill it reaches the destination because each data packet may take a different route through out the network, this is dependent on network traffic, router settings and protocols used.
