I want to know when the iPod Minies will be back in stock. I ordered one on Amazon.com and it said October. Is that really all the sooner it will be back in stock? Geeze, I don't want to wait that long, or pay 50+ bucks over retail to get one off of Ebay.

It says four weeks for the iPod Mini to ship; does this mean it acutally takes four weeks to ship or that they won't have anymore until then?
I assume you mean the build time Apple quotes? This is how long it will take for them to get more "stock" (Apple builds to order, and the long lead time is proabably due to a lack of components). Figure another week on top for delivery, as they come direct from the factory in Taipei (like my PowerBook and 3G iPod did)
