IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD [SOLVED]

Ok...I moved the RAM to a different slot...booted...and it shut down immediatly. Booted again, hit safe mode, got the BSOD. Booted again, hit normal, runs fine. I dunno about you, but something seems very wrong with that to me...

Ok...I was gonna post this on mandrivausers.org, but since that site isn't loading right, and this is the only other hardware forums I know....lol
Anyways....

Ok...here's the deal. My comp was getting a bit hot, so I pulled out the CPU fan, found it was FILLED with dust (seriously, I used a Q-Tip and pulled out sheets of it), so I cleaned it out, put the stuff back in, and tried to boot up. It died. Pulled everything out again, tried once more, same thing. Pulled out just the graphics card (long story, but because of my mobo design, to get to the CPU fan I have to remove the RAM, and to do that I have to remove the graphics card), and...it booted fine. Well, after messing around for a bit (I don't know exactly what did it...I think resetting my BIOS), I managed to get it to run. Now here's where it gets strange. I tried to boot Windoze XP, put in my password, programs start loading, and then boom, it shuts down. That happens three times in a row, so then I try win98...gets to the black screen right before it logs in, same thing. So I try WinXP in safe mode, and get an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. So then I try Linux (Libranet). It boots fine. So my first thought is 'well, Linux loads, can't be a hardware problem'...but then I realized...Linux runs on anything It's been running about 20 minutes now, no problems. I looked up the error online, and found a site saying it's most likely CPU overheating or bad RAM. Well, the CPU temp is fine, both my BIOS and the monitor program in windoze (one that managed to load before it died) agree on that. The RAM...well, I have 512, in one stick, with a heatsink, and Libranet is detecting 504, so that seems ok...the one thing is, I moved the RAM to a different slot to make it so I don't have to remove the graphics card to remove it...but...I had it in a different slot before and I believe it worked fine...I think it's in slot 2 now of 3...it was in 1...I think I'll try moving that back in a few minutes now that I think about it...but...I dunno...anyone got any other ideas before I start stripping everything out?
