Is 220x10.5 (2310MHz) @ 1.5v good? (Now running 220x11@1.65v)

Ok whatever its running will be shown here. I've just installed WebTemp (28th Aug) and got it running.

Just wondering as most OC's I've seen are all like 1.65v - 1.7v at speeds like this, yet my system is going stable @ 1.5v with these speeds.

    Chip is a 2600+ XP-M (1.45v 47W - AXMG2600FQQ4C / IQYHA0348XPMW)

Not going to try for more just yet, as I'm still on air-cooling.

yup prime didnt report no problems & also the machine didnt bomb out...

ran it about 5 times straight after each other give it a good run, followed by a mighty session in doom. Not one crash or problem!

Lo, seems we've got same cpu's m8, mine can do 2.2G speeds at default vcore (1.45real, 1.475bios) as well...

Now 238x11.5 (2.75G) on water and smokin' n ... 2.05 vcore though... :D

Seems that IQYHA0348XPMW is a fine damn chip :thumb:

Now testing 220x11 (2420MHz) but CPU-Z is reading it at 2425.6MHz...

Idle temps ~38C. Load temp running 1Mb Prime ~42C...

Ambient temp is 25.5C, but the PC is still air-cooled.

So far Prime's now been running for about an hour & no errors yet...

Yup I was lucky to get it I spose...

I remember the original post asking if I should get the 2500 or 2600 mobile, and even tho the majority said the 2500's are better clockers, I bit the bullet & got the 2600 instead... Pure fluke!

best part is too the cooler is a cheapo £7.50 copper-storm 2 cooler with an akasa fan on it :worried:

    2.7GHz.... don't tempt me:hehe:

I'm not sure if I wana try for more on air-cooling just yet... load temps are now stable at 46C on socket & 40C on Die, but I've not really compared to other OC's from other people as yet.

got it from overclock.co.uk early this year. they used to list the steppings of the different chips back then on there site, but looking now there no longer saying what stepping the chips are, unless thats because there popular & stock is changing all the time.

very nice clocks with that voltage... :)

My 2500M hit 2.7GHz with 1.87v prime stable... not had her under phase change yet, but I'm expecting 3GHz... I might see how far she goes with my new waterblock, as I haven't given that a real burn yet either.
