Those subs are made by Resonant Engineering, I've got their low end model and even those hit hard. They even make custom subs.

Nah it's not wrong but then again I'm a bass head anyway!

I'm sure Steve has done a fair bit of deadening, still thats a tonne of pressure from those subs, it is hitting high 140's (around 147db IIRC) on a TL at 37hz so that is a low frequnecy for such decent number.

Damn thats some serious air pressure in there, you can actually see the c pillars flexing and the tail gate lip moving around the boot catch mechanism

To be honest as very loud as that is, Samuelellis and I have actually been in louder.

Although I do not expose myself to those levels for very long, it bad for your hearing.

The song Steve playing is not actually what you can hear in the Video, the song you can hear is Blockhead Tipper Bass mix, single cell orchestra.

From the CD, 8 Track - Fuel Music for Sound Systems.

If you want to hear some awesome cars get over to talkaudio.co.uk and check the events section quiet a few around the country each year.

Or drop into one of the more comercial shows in the SPL/Streetbass forum like DBdrag events at car shows.

It may be able to play that but what happens when it tries to play something with anything about 2kHz? There is a big difference bettween lots of bass and actually having a balanced sound system.

Steves car is lacking in mids and highs.

I do very much agree on balance!

Mine and Sams installs are both SQL installs which are much more balanced, they sound great right across the range 20hz-16khz so you can stick in some high quality regular music and have a big smile on your face. Then if your in a crazy mood you can chuck on a bass CD to get that hair moving, best of both worlds.
