    Welcome.. :)

The search function is disabled to cut load on the server which cripples it if it's enabled.. it's a pain all round, but it's the only option we have at the moment.

The costs are obviously based on our use and the deal we've stuck with our hosts.. however, we shift about 120GB+ a month.. and rising.

note: the main site and forums are on same server so that figure (i would expect) includes site traffic too

i believe that it was as much the server load as the bandwidth costs (as kna said - and they ARE different :p)... and we saw the server was vulnerable to this in the /. incident :D

yeah, I think it's a pain in the ass the search function doesn't work, but I understand the cause too. And if you really need something, just ask the admins, they have (almost) searched everything I asked for on this forum

Its getting way of the original point but. I'm thinking of using them myself but only if they are they on/off position not 'push-to-make'. I want to switch control my new neons.
