Hi everyone, is XFX HD4870X2 2GB GDDR5 out of date? I really looking forward to play Crysis 2, does anyone know what kind of settings can I run? I have a 24 inch monitor which can run at 1920x1200. Anyway I can't play the demo yet, as I am out of the country. By the way which brand of GeForce GTX 570 gives the best performance and value for money?

    Thank you very much

    Intel Core i7 920, Asus Rampage II Extreme, 6GB Corsair Dominator 1600 DDR3, Samsung 1TB, Corsair 1000W, Antec 1200

Loosely based on this: http://www.techspot.com/review/367-crysis2-beta-performance/page4.html I'd say your card SHOULD play Crysis 2 at 1200p resolution. Just don't expect to max the settings.

Really there's no difference in performance between different brand cards, it's usually a better idea to look for difference in warranty, cooler and price. Sure, factory overclocked versions are faster, but it's not like you couldn't hit the same speeds with any other card.
