Modding Jigsaw question before I get started

    Well, got the side panel taped up and outlined. I plan on using a dremel to start a hole then use my jigsaw from there. Only thing is, I don't have any kind of workbench or anything similar. Just a one bdrm apt with a wooden bench. Can I just clamp my panel to the wodden bench or even a counter top and just cut the side that's hanging over? IS that a bad idea?

    I tried something like that. It worked, but the whole thing had to be held by somone else because it shook so much.

    Ahhh, so the clamps weren't stron enough? Maybe I can find something that's real heavy I can also place on top of it.

    The clamps were fine, but the side that wasn't clamped wiggled too much.

    i've cut half a window with the case in my lap, but then it started to move up and down with the blade insted of having the blade cut it
