Well today I had nothing better to do so i went to Target to just walk around. Well as I got their they were setting up the Wii and Ps3 for show. I was really excited by now. Well the Wii didn't have the controller up for various reason. All they had was the system in a case and a big screen with a video talking about Wii. I left that as it was and moved over to the ps3 section. Well the guy set up Motor Cross or something, i forgot. My first impression was wow! The graphics were amazing. When i played it I felt in the zone. Ya know what I mean? The crashes were awesome and when the motor heated up too much it would explode. I didn't find anything glitchy. Then I exited it out and went to the main screen. This is very similar to my PSP except more features. What mostly impressed me was there were lot of online features like block list, friend list, messages, voice chat, and etc. Then I say a demo of a game called Genji. The graphics impressed me yet again. Next I tried out NBA 07. The graphics were bit glossy I must say but nothing too disappointing because i don't have much interest in sport games because they get boring easily. Next these two black guys came and started looking at stuff. One big and one skinny. They first went to the Wii section and the big one was like "Dam what the is this? It looks like the skinny ps1." Then the skinny one was like "Look dude it's a good workout. " Then the big one, "I'd break that thing in less than 5 mins. " Then they came over to me and while i was play NBA 07. "Dang he's clowning on you" The big guy said. Well I was not familiar with the controls as much so i got dunked on few times. Then i was like "Let's see what you got, back it up." I said. i handed over the controller to the big guy and he got stolen couple of times and i was craccking up Then my mom came over and we had to go.
Cool story. I wonder why they had NBA07 on the demo. Perhaps they forgot that the game got cancelled. This makes me want to hit up some stores to play around with their demo units. I know that the EB in the mall near where I live doesn't have the wii-mote on a security cord, so they take your license if you want to try to use it so you don't run off with the controller.
I have only found the Wii setup in the Gamestop not far from my house. So I haven't had a chance to see the PS3 in action though I would like too.
There are young people on these forums. What's wrong with that? You act like you were born from a man.
