    Yes its a usb volume knob.

    I quite like the front actually but i think you would get a better response ive you had posted this in modding

    I really like it, and like the others have said, I'm sure you'd get a great response if you posted it in modding, it is really sharp. Oh, and that is quite a powerful system for a HTPC. :D
