Hey guys, I've got a bit of a question to ask.

I want to take an old box, 500mhz or so, with like 384MB of RAM... and connect it to a stereo reciever for audio... i don't need video.

I want to be able to control it over a network...

is this possible with software available?

    thanks!

Heres an old but somewhat useful guide - depends on network for boot and audio files.

If you didn't want that advanced, how 'bout VLC with HTTP or Telnet control interface open?
