I found this game in Best Buy today I kid you not. It was $50 though but I went purchased it anyway. I had no idea demand for this game was high enough for a U.S. Retail like Best Buy to chance importing it into their stock for purchase. It's got a big sticker on it warning that it's Japanese only but they've got lots FAQs out for it so I won't have problems playing it. I'll put up more once I get some playtime on it. I was going to Import this game later on but couldn't pass up the chance of a lifetime to get it for half the price it would cost me importing haha.
Import costs + Shipping. I spent $80 just to import Tales of Eternia on PSP. I just tossed up a number as far as cost goes for importing. I think before Lik-Sang went down it was on there for $60 or $70. So yeah combined with the shipping costs and taxes I figured close to $100.
I though those prices usually include import taxes and stuff? Whats Jump Superstars like then? From the name I'd guess it has lots of characters from Shonnen (sp?) Jump in it? Beat 'em up game?
Yeah the game is a Beat 'em up Smash Bros. Style. Lots of characters on screen, your basic attack, power attacks and then your super attacks. Ontop of that, you use the touch screen which displays your support characters (And Tag partner as well) in a comic book fashion. You can do what is called a Dream Combo, by tagging in characters in a certain order they will each tag in performing a move in the combo, then tag out for the next character. It's really fun I must say. They start you out with the main character from One Piece and Naruto when you actually hit the first Battle point. I only wish it were english because for a fighting game it appears text heavy (It obviously has a damn good tutorial what with all the scrolling through I was doing before I could even do anything at the starting stages). My friends all have the game as well, unfortunately though I can't play with them (we're in different states lol) so no Epic multiplayer brawls for me. Touch screen setup for all your support moves can be customized as well. They have pre-build onces for the game, and you unlock other characters for support as you play through the story mode that you can use in your own support deck.
