Graphics Just ordered my 3870x2, and whats with newegg:?

So i ordered my 3870x2 sapphire version
449.99 + 6.61$ shipping...
then a day later when i receive my tracking # same product, says 20$ instant savings..
wtf.? i also remember once purchasing, 2gigs of ram, then next day a 10$ price drop outta no where...
Gas prices went up here by 10cents, 3.09$ for unleaded, and theres trucks and suvs all over the place
driving like maniacs cus of it... their gonna kill someone..
anyway..i hope the card does well for now, till i can get my hands on the 1kw corsair PSU

 

Awesome. I FINALLY picked up an 8800GT 512MB for $215 and the next day the price dropped by $10. LoL, I would like to know whats up with that too.

 

its not often that I see people complaining about saving money. maybe that will happen to me some day.

 

They're not saying they made any savings.
They're saying the prices dropped almost immediately after they'd made their respective purchases

 

It does seem that their prices change somewhat randomly. There have been a few times where I checked a price in the early afternoon and by the time I checked again in the evening it had changed by a couple dollars.

oops. i did a stupid thing and made an assumption. I assumed that because they knew right away about the price drop that it had been applied to them. I know of a few retail stores that will give you a price match thing for 30 days after you buy something, in case the price suddenly drops after you buy something.
