Scratch Build – In Progress K3N

    I started working on the chassis yesterday and made a first bit. a couple of holes needed and it will be finished...

    first I cut the 6mm al sheet to correct lengths. I was not sure how my low end jig saw will manage this kind of thickness so I helped it a bit :D

    ... a little "update" on my tools :D this is what happens when you work with cheap crap :worried:
    ordered a new set, decent one this time. should arrive on Wednesday latest.

    Hey, if you could make some bolts like that to match, you could name it a Gtek thread!
    Or, just get some new tools, I guess. ;)

    Hey, I thought you were going to make one big piece and then bend it slightly?

    What 3D modelling tool do you use? SketchUp?

    yes, that was the plan, but I quickly changed my mind. It was not very practical to work with. as my wee tool room is like 6m2 :D ... just easier to do it this way. And I don't believe it will have any negative impact on the structural integrity of the frame...
