    Evnin' all

Just thought i would post a quick announcement.

We are arranging a large scale LAN event to be held in Stafford UK, in a couple of months.

This is a totally non-proffit event, and with any luck we should have nvidia and Gigabyte onboard as sponsors.

it's not going to be on the scale of the gathering, or annything like that but it should be fairly big.

For more info and to sign up please go to www.staffslan.co.uk

I may be intrested, I was meant to be going to the gathering with my brother but due to unforseen circumstances I didn't/Coldn't. Is their any idea of a date or maybe I have tottaly missed something.

Any way I'll be intrested to hear more, also any idea how it will be lasting because if I was to come to it the length it last depends on a lot because coming from down south it has to be resonably long.

Any way their goes my self involved post.

Hmmm may go to the summer one if there is one, will be in the UK in April, but will need a little bit of time to get myself a rig over there.

Is it going to be held after the start of the school holidays so those doing exams can come?

You say non-profit, however I don't expect any event like this to be free. Got an idea of ticket price?

Hey guys, id preffer these questions in the staffslan forum (www.staffslan.co.uk), but here goes! ive really no idea of a ticket price yet, it'll be under £30, hopefully under £20, really depends on the venue.

Im looking to run one April/may time, and maybe one later in the summer.

it'll be a 2 day/1 night event, i.e saturday morning to sunday evening.

it is big considering most UK lans are under 50, and a few are around 100, then of course i-series, but that's another league, just havent got the reputation yet to make it that big.

d'oh! forgot to post a reply!
theres no age limit as such, but there will be indemnity forms for under 16s

star - You can suggest that, but i'll be in Ibiza, so it wont be :D

looking like early May, but dependent on the venue, who STILL havent confirmed.....

If you have just come across this thread, take a look at the website at www.staffslan.co.uk you may well be interested!
