Ok guys you havn't let me down before, I need a good LCD Screen that is good for gaming as well as general purpose. I'm looking for a 19", some where around $350 USD. Right now i'm using a NEC MultiSync FE700+ that is on it's last legs, and help and or advice would be great!!!! EDIT: Also Black color and no TV Tuner, perferably with a DVI Connector. And i could careless if it's not name brand, I just need something good that works and will take up less space on my desktop.
wow, good luck unless you find one refurbished or used. I found a 19" philips at newegg.com (12ms, no speakers/tuner, VGA in only) for $430-ish If you want low response time and DVI together, you're looking at $500 and up retail.
yeah, i think your budget is unrealistic. you'd be looking at £350 for a decent gaming 19" let alone $350 dollars. i think the saying " you get what you pay for" really holds strong with tfts atm. you need to pay for performance.
Well, the L90D has received excellent reviews. But this has become commonplace for Hyundai's LCDs (L70S, Q17, now L90D). It can be done, but right now there arent many low-latency 19s (as apposed to 17s).
Remember 19" CRT = 19" tube, not screen size. The actual screen size will be closer to low 18" something, whereas a 17" TFT = full 17" diagonal width, so you wont loose as much space as u think.
Yeah what Bindi said. 17" is probably the best thing to go for. As far as specs goes the new Shuttle 8ms is screen is reportedly one the best for gaming.
@ Bindi & -H- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-201-003&depa=1 THis it??? @ Everyone else, Ok so what about $450 USD... Sorry I'm kinda on a really limited budget... Stupid Taxes...
Ive used the 16ms one before and it was good, but 8ms is always better The temperd glass is seriously sweet and stops people poking the screen and makes it easier to clean!
8ms grey to grey response time is not an accurate response time, which by definition is the time it take to go from black to white to black again.

Here we go, this good, meets everything i was looking for and look at the price, under $350 USD... http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-347&depa=1
Viewsonics are quite nice. I want this one: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-285&depa=1 I have a 17" Hitachi CLM174SWXB 16 MS response time and I love it, but I want a bigger one. When I have enough saved up, I'm hoping that there are 12 and 8 MS ones already established and relatively cheap.
