So I'm sure this is a fairly noob question, but I've search around online and not found what I want... so I just figured instead of my figuring out a solution by trial and error I might as well ask the lovely, highly intelligent, well informed people of bit-tech for some help :D

The question is this... What is a good website to buy LEDs? I live in the USA and when I do searches I either turn up places that are selling LED strips, bulbs, lamps, blah blah blah, or somewhere that doesn't actually sell from their website.

I'm looking for a wide variety of colors, I would like to be able to buy 5mm, 3mm, and just plain old bare LEDs, like what you would find soldered to a circuit or something.

Can anyone provide me with anything? (and yes I am being lazy, don't worry I'm already well aware :hehe:)

    www.phenoptix.com
Phenoptix has a wide range and were very quick to sort out my order. They're UK based but international shipping is free on orders over £10, although I don't know how long it would take to ship out to America.

    www.ebay.com

There are so many places selling all manner of 'normal' leds that it would make your brain implode; just gotta not be lazy and try a few different search terms ;)

I thought Radioshack also, but quite frankly if I'm buying 50 LEDs Id rather not be spending 1.50+ a piece on them if possible. I've also had bad experiences with those stores and try to stay away from them if I can lol. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Seems like it, though Radio Shack has less actual computer stuff.
