sorry this has most probably been posted before, bt im really tired and cbf looking up threads. neways on my antec 1080 i have two extral leds, and i dont know where to connect them, i have an asus A7N8X mobo,i dont wanna buy any circuit boards or anytihn like that, just want to know place to plug em in so they are always on.
Try a molex plug using 5v and ground. You'll probably need a resistor as well. However, if they're the hdd and power LEDs, they should connect to the mobo's pins. Look @ your manual too see where they go.
I have the deluxe version of this motherboard and it came with a "map" showing where things like this go -Sam
they are just 2 extra leds, shastings i cant find anywhere to put them i also have deluxe version, can you tell me where to put them? the hdd and power leds are already being used.
Bahhh might help if I actually read the post before answering I thought you meant the Power/HDD LEDs, sorry about that. Yeah you'd need to use a resistor and connect it up to a molex plug. -Sam
