Im going to be taking apart my v1000 to paint the chassis, and I just noticed that the rivets along the outer edge where the side panels mack contact to the case are flush with the case itself and dont have the normal "bulge" rivets have. Will normal rivets work and not hit the side panel when i try to put them on?

    Thanks in adavance

You'll probably be okay, but be prepared to sand them down flush if need be. Or better yet, special-order something. However, I don't think that small amount of space will be significant, as mine at least seem to be *slightly* recessed (for that reason, I'd imagine).

OK cool.... Ill drill one out tomorrow and and see how a normal fits. Hopefully it will work so I can do a full disassembly and get the chassis painted.

    Thanks again....

Come on its a v1000 they look nice enough, well my v2000 does anyway.

The rivets on mine are flat hope it turns out well.

    Good luck
