The only band I've seen live was Evanescence last november, they were absolutely fantastic - way better than the album was (and I thought the album was good).
I should be going to see The Offspring in March (with a bit of luck)

It was a pretty awful gig. The Rapture were decent, easily the best of the 4. The von bondies were terrible, franz ferdinand sound like a glam tribute band or something, FFAF - well I quite liked their album but not overly impressed live

I've seen a few gigs of local bands in perth, WA and mos have been pretty cool.

i'd recommend seeing Machine Gun ******** if ever the chance arrives.

I'm going to see The Waifs tomorrow night and A Perfect Circle next month then I'm back in perth to see all the local bands there.

Well, tbh, I'm expecting them all to be a bit naff except for FFAF... what kind of music did the Rapture play? I don't have any in my playlist

Still looking forward to it though, its not like I have anything better to do that night :D

Best bands ive seen are Bad Religion and RHCP (since they are my favourite bands) Also have seen LTJ, Guns n Roses (including buckethead :D) Pennywise, NOFX, Hell is for Heroes, etc etc

if i had the brain cells to list all the bands ive seen ....

    most memorable:
    karma to burn (without singer)
bob mould (the gay dood from husker du if'n ya dont know)
    morphine (r.i.p.)
    kyuss
    into another
iceburn (gotta love a nonstop 55 minute hardcore/sXe set with "rockit" in the middle- seamless flow between songs like a dj mixed it)
    MU330
    clutch
verve (back in 93 when they were still cool)
    fIREHOSE
titonton duvante & the marzipan orchestra (t rocks, whether spinning or playing live)
    GWAR
    millions of others
    :ed: i forgot avail! duh.

    Biggest dissapointments:
    Depeche Mode in 91
    karma to burn (with singer)
RATM (cancelled due to drummer back injury)
mighty mighty bosstones (drove 120 miles for a very lacklustre show, the opening bands were better - face to face and some other ska band)

i havent been out much lately ... i think the last show i saw was rev. horton heat back in 2000. maybe karma to burn. same venue, maybe the same week.

Ah well, as much as i hate to say it br > incubus (especially incubus' new album which isnt too good)

Was at the showing in Brixton on Saturday (went with Tau and another friend). Was trying to stand up right behind the first barrier. It was too mad infront of the first barrier so moved back. If I had been slightly to the right the singer would have landed right on top of me when he dived in. Helped a girl get up to surf when he jumped in and she tried to get everyone to move her over towards him (girls silleh tbh), she ended up on her head somewhere.

I Voted for Kodos with Anti-Tuesday and Better Than Nothing... awesome show. IV4K is the best live band ever, IMO.

This coming Sunday, I have tickets to go see Sevendust with opening bands Scorn, Illl Nino, and Life of Agony. Mostly, we are going for LoA.

Some of teh best concerts I've seen are:

    RATM
    Toadies
    Skatenigs
    Turbonegro
    Flametrick Subs
    The Misfits opening for GWAR
    Rob Zombie
    Tool
    Mojo Nixon

...and more, that's all I can think of right now on a Monday morning.
