Electronics LM317 based fan controller

    Here is a guide how to make a fan controller using voltage regulator LM317. I translated it to english from estonian, so if you don't understand something, ask me.

    We'd translate that as "The capacitors C1 and C2 are used as filters" or maybe "to filter out noise on the supply".

    Back in steam radio days capacitors were sometimes called condensers, but not any more. Perhaps some old-timer can explain why? :confused:

    Condensator is the Dutch word for capacitators :).

    Well it's not far from estonian; kondensaator in estonian:)

    In Norwegian it's named Kondensator
