Wheeee I can fly............................. (Sorry, its Sunday, am refusing to do any work, so having to kill my time somehow) With a run up; And it wont hurt to do it again without a run up Garbage;
Could we have the full vid & some pics of where you're doing it? The quality of that stuff doesn't really give an impression of how high you were up
Oh its not very high up at all, its just the distance horizontally is all am trying to improve on. The vid is crap though, badly encoded and the first one that I filmed. I've taken more video footage since then, but had no time to put to puter and encode. Infact... I dont have the video anymore. Bah.
I was hoping for a picture of you with each leg either side of that wall on the right and your bollocks decimated on the corner edge
Bard: yeah I might be running in Jump London 2, I go to a few Jams, and host vids for www.parkour.org.uk am into the traceurs scene atm. RTT: Its about 1.5m. If I stand next to it it comes up to my waist, and am 5 11 / 6 ft. And reencoding constitues work The garbage bit is about 7ft tall, cos its definately taller than me.
Wouldn't that then make relix correct in assuming the wall was closer to 1m? To illustrate: I'm 6'1" in my socks with fairly long legs for my height and my waist (full waist, not hip) isn't more than 1.1m off the ground - roughly 60% of my overall height. By my calculations, if a 1.5m wall came to your waist (even allowing that your legs were proportionally slightly longer to your torso) then that would make you around 2.5 metres tall - just a shade over 8'2" in height and one of the tallest people in human history. At 5'11-6' (say 5'11 and a half inch) your waist should be around 1.08m off the ground, a shade less if you had normal or short legs in proportion to your torso and, thus, the wall would be approx 1m high. QED.
