Hello all, I will soon be in the market for a new monitor as I am wanting to get the most out of my rig. I have been blessed with IPS this time around and do not want to go to TN or VA, IPS is a must for me, because I’m a snob. Price needs to remain around $600 ideally and I’d love to get it at 1440P. If I can get away with less, I’d be happy. I would like to be able to get a 27” monitor. As mentioned previously... I’m a snob and will happily pay more for a known brand. What’s a good monitor to go with these days?? TIA.
HDR GSync screens are supposed to finally arrive on the market this year, so if it isn't very urgent I'd hold off buying any premium monitor at the moment.
Really?? That should drive down the costs a fair whack, I would imagine... Not terribly urgent, but I have a desire to spend some money from my Crypto profits.
4k screens capable of going beyond 60hz. Ultrawides with 5120 x 2160 res. HDR and GSync in same screen. 3440 x 1440 + HDR + Gsync + 200hz ultrawides. And thats just the stuff that has been announced already.
Hah! I would rather you kept your job too. I suspect those screens will be vastly out of my budget range... but should bring the 1440P panels down nicely.
I'm glad I'm sorta doing a good job. It's not all me, I'm just the only dev really interested in technology and in turn uses the forums. That's the main reason i get hyped for new tech, "oooh people will be selling the previous best in class and it should go down in price at retail"
So by proxy you have become the poster boy of the Devs Seriously though, we welcome your presence and the work of all the Devs (a thankless task I know)
