HTPC looking for a good cheap plasma

    i am looking for a good plasma scrreen about 30in is good for under $500 any help is welcome :D

    Thats a tight budget, you are going to struggle to get one for that much.

    well my bro got one for $340 at costco but they dont have it anymore, its a 32" so ill look there this weekend

    Thats a nice price, on this side of the pond a 32 will set you back $800+

    on this island itll cost you upwards of £800 (about $1200)

    but england seems to have a higher price on everything technology wise than anywhere ¬_¬

    lol thats alot of money i would not buy one but this is after i finish my clear computer ultimate gaming computer in project logs and thats put me right above $2,000 right now so total will be about $2500 so when im done with that and make some money ill get one or get one with my xbox 360 for christmas

    Do you honestly think they're any cheaper in Scotland, Wales or Ireland :confused:

    Not without good reason is the saying "rip-off Britain", rather than "rip-off England" :idea:

    He's after a plasma screen (as in TV), not a TFT (as in PC monitor) :idea:

    Dell sells tvs aswell. Atleast they do over here in the US of A. My suggestion would be a lcd tv though. I have a subsciption to a home theater magazine and that is what they say. I think it was 40" or below go LCD 40" to 50" go to plasma and any higher go with rear projection or just projection. Any specific reason for a plasma.
