Hey guys. Can any of you remember the name of the film in which the number "Running up that hill" by Placebo is played? The film is about a couple, with the wife dying and the man not appreciating her in life. He then receives a second chance to go back in time and be with her, and in the end, he sacrificies himself so she can survive. Since he realizes that he cannot live without her. Can you help me with the name? My google-fu is not up to the task :-/
I can't find a movie title, but is seems like the song have been in both "The OC" and "Bones". It's also used in the trailer for "daybreakers". Are you sure it's Placebo that have the song in that movie? The song is a cover o f which Katie Bush have the original. Edit: Seems like the original were featured in Notting Hill. Could that be it?
Ooo, I'm sure I watched this film recently... *puts thinking hat on* /edit - hmm, I thought you might have been thinking about The Fountain, but it's not that.
How old is the film? (Aprox) Do you remember any of the characters or actors names? Do you remember any quotes from the film?
Definitely ain't Notting Hill. As much as this might be a blow to my manliness - I know the soudtrack to that film, and definitely doesn't have any Placebo.
Okay, the movies is 1995 and after. With "Running up the hill" in either Kate Bush' version, or the Placebo version. I know this does not narrow it very much, but I would appreciate all the help I could receive from you guys And thanks for the answers
Can you think of any of the actors/characters, how recent is the film, where is it set, is it an American film or a British one or is it any other nationality? Are there any other tracks that feature in the film? What you've given isn't much to go on, anything else you can remember will help.
It's my friend who wants to know, and frankly she doesn't remember much about it :-/.. But I am coaching her memory, so we might strike gold sometime
