    Hey all,

for the first time in about 4 years, I'm thinking of building a rig. For those 4 years I've been using laptops and Macs, so I'm a bit out of touch with the technology these days! I'm currently running an Intel Mac Mini (with upgraded CPU), but it's starting to feel the strain of too much Warcraft...

Basically what I'm after is something to dual-boot Vista and Ubuntu (maybe tri-boot "hackintosh" too), run Visual Studio 2008/World of Warcraft/Warhammer Online/Web Development software.

I have a few constraints though - the system I build has to be

    1. Small - my office is a tiny cupboard-under-the-stairs job. Obviously it's not going to be Mac Mini sized, but the smaller the better :)
    2. Cheap - I'm on a seriously tight budget. Sub £500 (without software) is a definite must. I certainly don't expect to have the latest and greatest for that price, but it would be nice to know I can run Warhammer Online when it comes out!

I browsed through Scan, and put a few "sample" systems together, but reading these boards, everything I chose was pretty much a waste of time, so I definitely need some help!

    So, any suggestions?

Well, first I would go to the Hackintosh wiki to see what mobo would work with you you want, if you are seriously considering tri-booting.
    I Tri-boot and I don't regret it.
    Link To Compatible Motherboards
I would get the Abit IP35-E, Its a great cheap motherboard. It is full atx however.
