Hi guys I like many others have just started working from home. I'm doing from home call center, but I'm not allowed to use my own pc(they provided a nuc) I've got my monitors set up so that I can just change source but don't have a solution for mouse and keyboard. I've heard of kvm switches but are there any km switches as I don't need to v aspect?

TLDR: Want an input switch for my keyboard and mouse. Does it exists and what do you recommend?

You want a switchable USB hub, methinks. If it's just for a mouse & keyboard shared between 2 PCs then a USB 2 hub should be fine, although you can get USB 3.0 switches for four peripherals, for example.

I don't have a specific recommendation for a USB 2 hub, but I do have this switchable USB 3.0 hub and it's been faultless. Might be overkill for what you need though (and the price has gone up a lot since I bought mine - I paid £17 for mine and it's now £30!

No worries @jamsand :) I should mention that I use my USB switch to share a wireless mouse & keyboard between my main PC and my work laptop (technically the fancy docking station that my laptop connects to). The only issue I have is that occasionally the switch doesn't auto-detect the laptop dock and I have to manually switch it over (just a case of pressing the button on the top of the switch) but I think that's a function of it being connected to the dock - when I used to connect it directly to my laptop I never had any issues.

I use Synergy to use my desktop keyboard and mouse on my work laptop.
