if locke and all the others who supposedly "died" are going to have been miraculously saved by the island. I was always under the impressions locke fate was intetwined with the islands

I don't think Locke will be dead. We still do not know how he came to be disabled and I doubt they'll not tell us.

Why would Locke be dead? Did I miss something? Matey turned his key which stopped the magnetic stuff happening.

 

Locke was in the silo though, the only person we know got out so far is Charlie and the hatch cover was blown up into the sky and landed on the beach. So some kinda burst musta happened.

 

Yeah, I really cant imagine them all surviving - it was an ENORMOUS blast. However the island has a specific interest in John - I dont really see how he can be killed off so early, although his "destiny" might have just been to find and destroy the hatch.

 

Yeah but he was sealed in the inner part of the hatch. The explosion was just in the corridor, on the other side of the blast door to Locke.

 

Not that explosion, the explosion from the EMP blast. I doubt the dynamite blast woulda blasted the air hatch that far, it took too long to land, and happened after everyone grabbed their heads.

 

Looks like my connection is gonna be hammered tonight

Can't wait, although I think I need to watch the last episode of S2 to remind me fully on whats going on... Anyone else got a bad memory like me?

Hopefully we will get some more answers out of this season compared to the last one.
