    Theres a couple of old Metallica songs based on Lovecrafts work.

    "The thing that should not be" and "Call of Ktulu" I believe. Even though the latter is an instrumental.

    As it happens, I've only read The Call of Cthulhu and At The Mountains of Madness, (Very good actually - MoM reads like a 20's version of The Thing in places):
