DS M3 Sakura 1.11 - New M3 Real Firmware

    M3 Sakura 1.11X for US/EUR M3 Real

    Anyone tryed this on the m3 real yet? Im finding it a lot easyer to get around in. Though i still can not get StillAliveDS to work:sigh:

    I ordered an R4 about a week ago, got it this week and it works great for me, but i just use it for the games.

    This is a new firmware for the m3 real, it ist out in english yet though. This one is a hack. though when it dose come out i highly recomend everyone to update to it. my ds feels a lot more powerful now. mp3 playback and video playback are much better, and you dont have to use moonshell to do any of that.

    My M3 simply works fine, yeah it can stutter a bit when I move the time and graphics round on the MP3 player, but it works good enough for me.

    I have been considering moving to the REAL so I can have SDHC cards and more music.

    R4 for the win, it has mp3 support, and takes up to 2GB mini-sd cards, and it doesn't stick out and isn't bulky. It's also fairly reasonable (payed 95 bucks for 2 with shipping, they were 75 bucks, shipping was the rest)

    The M3 and R4 are exactly the same though, just have different firmware. There is exactly one jumpers difference in the PCBs.

    And slighty more games play on the M3 Real (piracy ofc). ;)

    Think I'll keep the current firmware, I don't need a new one.

    The M3 has MP3 support, 2GB support, doesn't stick out, isn't bulky and I paid £25 for mine at the time but prices have risen.

    As Joe says, they are exactly the same.

    you said you payed £25 though, I'm in Canada so that's roughly double here... 1 r4 cost me 37.99, no tax :D I guess it really comes down to prices and preference, and i didn't know that they were different, i just tried my friends r4 and liked it...

    Mine was including shipping, but prices have risen massively over here, last i looked they were £35+ a time

    I got ridda my M3 real for a cyclods a few months ago however :)

    I might get another just because they're so inexpensive!
