Anybody know where i can get one of these LCD Screens? (Ive actually talked to Charlie a few times) Also, is that an older Powerbook on the left on the pic below? Mike (lol, i had to find an excuse to post pics of Nothing Studios and NIN working there, but im also curious about these LCDs)
lol - nice mate I'm not familiar with that particular model of display, but I recon a good place to start would be http://store.apple.com/ - then clicking the 'displays' link, there should be an LCD or two there for ya
hey Moose, it must be an older model as they arent listed there. The have the Studio Displays though i might look up some older Mac LCD Screens tommorow. as its 2:30am here, and im about to go sleep. mike
lol! Sounds like a plan If there are any mac dealers near you, it might be worth giving them a bell - they might be able to point you in the right direction, or even have some for you to have a gander at Hope you manage to track some down, and have a good rest
looks like an old 15.1 Apple released when the G3 moved out of the K2 case and into is blue funky one so its the predecessor to the current studio displays
They had one of those screens in my local PC World bargain area a couple of weeks ago for really cheap (around £149). Haven't seen one since though. Maybe others will have some back stock!
Hey, Im back. I couldnt find any of these anywhere on the net. not a trace. oh well. at least they look cool Thats alright, ill probably just get a studio display once i get my G4. Mike
Shame. Still, I'm sure if you're not taken by the studio displays for the moment, they'll prolly grow on you I think they look cool, at the very least
hey Moose, yeah to say the very least they look cool. I love my PC, but I want a mac for Audio and Video Editing, since they are more stable and there are less problems with doing things like editing DV. (I dont even wanna start with all the problems I had before i finally got my Computer capturing video the right way)
Hey Moose, hehe, yeah i know what you mean. but im planning on building a studio in my basement when we get a house. Im planning on setting up a few sythesizers and things like that, and setting up a G4 Mac, so i can use that to record music and stuff like that, and also use FCP3 for video editing. (Im too inspired by the amazing work of Trent Reznor, lol) Mike p.s. check this out. im gonna go with this type of mood in my studio: http://www.digitalnoise.org/studio/b1.mov
