Throwing in my two bits... I certainly understand the post requirement, and actually support it - I've been a member of this forum for a few years, but until I began my build log, haven't tried to be part of the community. However, I do think that new posters should be able to view it, even if it were grayed out - it took me quite a bit of searching to find out that this forum even had a sales subforum.
I agree with the founding rules and point of view. Just interested to understand the perspective / rationale behind this rule. Thanks for responding. Agree, no right was claimed
I pop up every now and then to throw rule books at unsuspecting spammers I don't think anyone would not notice. Start a thread about not having enough posts to get to the MP >> post crap loads of crap to up said post count. It isn't the best plan I've ever seen lol
Not sure which old spam posts you are mentioning, just took a look at all my previous posts and do not find anything resembling spam. And not sure if you consider me to be an unsuspecting spammer but I just came back to this forum from my nostalgia of younger days from where I got a lot of project ideas. Also I wanted to visit the Marketplace to see if I could just pick up a ready made modded piece of kit without needing to build one up.
No need to read what you can't buy. Sales forum is run totally on trust. It works well because the profiteers, spongers, con artists and just general plums are spotted a mile off. The market place here is a group of pretty much friends now who try and help each other out. Some of us have received more help than we have been able to give. I have never seen a community that supports each other like this and is pretty much self policing.
Not too sure what was wrong with the picture, but there was a big blank spot on the left, so I fixed it for you.
