just a show off of me case, nothing ground breaking and all standard fair but, and this is the killer bit.... it actually turned out as planned! lol many thanks to all that replied with advice on various questions that i posted (especially when making the fanbus) started off with a very bog standard and much slated case [/IMG] and let there be light! [/IMG] still gotta finish drawing on the gf4....card edges turned out nice though! [/IMG] may look a bit empty drive wise but both ide channels are full - 2 hd at bottom, cdrw and dvd at top
not bad at all.. I have 2 of those cases and I just KNEW there was something that could be done to the rather bland front bit near the power switch. ::EDIT:: How did you steath the drives.. I wanted to know the best way for these cases without buggering up the bay covers... any chance you have pics of that?
same hey my friend has that case or similar and he says he cant stealth the drives because the little nuts on the front bays wanna share how you did that?
that is one cool modding there buddy, keep up the good work! How much did u spend on the modding? cos it looks a top notch job!
I have the same case only mine has the stupid bubble tubes down the front. I think what you've done is great I have 2 80mm fans as intake on the back and 2 80mm fans as exhaust on the top but I really need the 2 in the fron like you as input and reverse the ones at the back. So what I was wondering is where did you get the really cool mesh as that is all that's stoping me from cuting the front open
Very nice indeed. One thing I like about that case is that its about the only one that actually places the floppy bays in the middle not offset.
Just dremel off the end of the bolts! Works on a shuttle faceplate so I don't see why it shouldn't for this case. I can also unscrew the bolts and screw them back in easily so you can do it too
