The Keyboard Company has ANSI Filco boards, such as this one. Also in black and several switch options, also top or side printed.

EDIT: Derp. Changed the link to a board that's actually in stock. Seems they have some but not all in white. Black models available with blue/red/black/brown switches in top or side print... though all the stock caps are pretty pants.

I always saw the 1800s as the cherry answer to tkl, but without losing the numpad...

Sign up for massdrop. ANSI boards are regular drops.

The Cherry 1800 boards are fine and all, but a TKL G80-3000 would have the standard layout I can't live without (for keycap purposes) and look totally badass.

Thanks for the input guys there doesn't seem to be anything of interest on mass drop only a Code keyboard so looks like I'm going to get the Filco, as money is burning a hole!

I have a G80-3494 I might be selling, but I hadn't mentioned it as you specified TKL. I think Filco is a good choice, they're solid boards. Shrop sells detachable cables for them, too which fixes the one thing I don't really like about the design!

Every time I go on Shrop's site, I get tempted by the little 60% boards!

Code is made by wasd i think so can be expected to be well built. Think they do clear switches too if you want something a little less ordinary.

For someone who specifically wanted clears it's a good choice. It's more expensive than buying a Filco though, due to import costs, so for the other switch colours I'd still recommend the Filco.

I knew about the new KBParadise, but I must have missed they were going to offer it with Matias switches. Interesting... I might have to try one of those.

Very interesting is it not. I am having 4 MX models in to test and sell/ gauge interest.

I will 100% be after some Matias switch models though.

    Just got your order :thumb:

My vote is on the Corsair K95. Yes it's pricey, but I don't regret my purchase. Delightful keyboard.

Well the KBP MX versions do sound nicer than other ready to type 60% since it is actually 100% user programmable supposedly include layer 0 unlike the Poker, Pure Pro, etc. That I think is it's best feature and I am not wowed by the novel dual led modes and the rest of it is nothing new otherwise. What does interest me is trying out some Alps like switches without having to deal with awful layouts or boards with enormous footprint on the desk in which case nice minimal Alps like boards have been essentially non existent outside of a few very limited run kit boards. The only really decent ready to type Alps like boards are quite difficult to find being the Filco Zero and Leopold FC200Lite. Ducky 1087XM is too poor quality to be of much consideration. Then again... all the roadblock cons have kept be going down the Alps switch black hole which may be a good thing.

I will post my initial thoughts on the quality/ program-ability when they come in, fingers crossed they will be here this week sometime. I think I may hold one of them back for myself to be honest, I really want to try out white switches.

I will ask my supplier about getting hold of the Matias models, as they sound very interesting. The only ALPS switches I have tried are black and they are 'meh' to be honest. The only thing we need now is good caps!

One of the major drawbacks I read about for the KBP 60% models is incompatibility with existing 60% cases (Poker/Pure/GH60) etc. Seems like a bit of an oversight to me.

The stock case on the KBP looks cool anyway, I like it.
